(a) Inclinable brass compound microscope base with black specimen stage and brass microscope holder mounted on swivel base (bottom half of base has been painted green). Articulated arm with colorless circular lens fixed to microscope holder. (b) Cylindrical compound microscope body tube. (c) Two-sided swivel substage mirror with brass rod. (d) Extra objective lens. (e) Brass tweezers. (f) Dissection knife with black wooden handle. (g) Dissection needle with black wooden handle. (h) Custom wooden box with some green velvet lining. (i) Key.Provenance
