Physical DescriptionColorless glass; formed from three superimposed gathers, with bubbles of air trapped between the first and second gathers ["Ariel" technique]; ground and polished. Almost spherical shape but with flat base; first and second gathers are cylindrical with domed tops; between them, almost diametrically opposed, one large and one smaller bubble; both are highly irregular in shape with rounded and spiky protrusions; other small bubbles, especially at interface of second and third gathers; scratched on base: "ORREFORS/ Ariel/ [illegible]/ Edvin Ohrstrom".
