Physical DescriptionAlmost colorless glass but with greenish yellow tinge, (trails) almost colorless and translucent blue; blown (two gathers), applied. Beaker with truncated conical body. (Rim is missing). Wall tapers; foot (made from second gather) is conical, but shallow, and has rounded edge; at center of foot, perforation (D. 0.6 cm) giving access to vertical tube (L. about 7.5 cm), which projects upward into body and is open at top; this is partly enclosed within second tube, which is open at bottom and rests on continuous “arcade” of three trails shaped like inverted letter U, and is closed at top; top of outer tube has pontil mark (D. 0.9 cm). Applied decoration on wall consists of broad register apparently bordered at top by colorless roughly horizontal trail. Register contains three blue motifs alternating with and three colorless motifs, each of which is about 2.5 cm tall, abstract, and curvilinear.
