Physical DescriptionCanes of opaque red, opaque white, opaque yellow and translucent deep blue in a matrix of translucent deep blue glass, pitted, bubbly with weathering on edges and back, surface repolished recently. Fragment preserves elaborate curving architectural entablature which curves up and out from base suggesting three dimensionality and support function, the face is decorated with long tongue or oval patterns consisting of red centers cased with white, deep blue and yellow in a deep blue matrix, two complete elements are preserved, portions of two others; pattern suggests an arcade or stylized triglyph pattern.Provenance
