Physical DescriptionTranslucent greenish-blue glass, bubbly with stone, pitted surface, circular cane with opaque white, translucent blue- green, colorless and opaque red glass, pitted and dull surface; mosaic glass or millefiori technique, monochrome glass cut and polished. Diamond-shaped monochrome element with circle cut in center, inlaid is a round red cane with a design of Y-shaped or split leaf elements, yellow stems cased with blue-green subsequently cased with opaque white arranged in a quadrant design and separated from each other by a simple X in colorless or greenish-colorless glass; cane is affixed to a bitumen or thick resinous backing and is not fused to the diamond, backing is well preserved.Provenance
