Physical DescriptionTransparent dark blue lead glass; blown, mold-blown, threaded. (a) Bell-shaped form, with slightly everted rim, with spiral threading trailed near the rim; tapered, bulbous base; hollow molded domed foot; two applied, finely ribbed loop handles, with molded raspberry prunts at the lower terminals; polished pontil mark; the bulbous section apparently panel-molded. (b) Domed cover with rounded rim and inset brim; molded ball finial on three disks, with smaller ball finial on top, the entire finial open to the inside of the cover; four applied raspberry prunts on the dome; cut rim.Provenance
