Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, trailed, impressed prunts, engraved. (a) Large, ovoid bowl, open at the base to a large cylindrical stem; the bowl with continuous engraved band of flowers above an inscription, "Tompt och Boo Lyckas Skal"; engraved band below with small flowering plants; trailed rigaree band at the base of the bowl; applied, molded "berry" prunts in three staggered rows on the stem; large, conical foot with engraved floral sprays and crossed laurel and palm fronts; folded foot rim; rough pontil mark. (b) Domed form with folded rim and tapered brim; engraved crossed palm frond and laurel branch, and floral sprays; drawn tubular finial with trailed rigaree band at the base and applied molded berry prunts in a row; applied baluster finial with tiny tip, on a disk; rough pontil mark inside the tubular finial.
