Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Bucket bowl with flared rim and rounded base; engraved crowned pair of oval facets, each bearing three fleur-de-lis, with floral sprays at either side; engraved inscription on the reverse "a la fille des Rois/Sa Cristallerie de Montcenis."; the lower half of the bowl with a narrow band of cut panels above a wide band of cut nailhead diamonds, and a narrow band of cut fine diamonds at the base; panel-cut, spreading stem above a cut, square foot; polished, concave pontil mark; inscribed "S627" in white paint, and green paper label inscribed "F" on the pontil mark.Provenance
