Physical DescriptionColorless or almost colorless glass; blown, cut, ground, polished. Dish: shallow. Rim plain; wall curves down and in, and merges with slightly convex base. Wheel-cut decoration on outside, arranged in continuous concentric bands: (from rim to base) two shallow horizontal grooves, 0.6 cm apart; two bands of short oval facets (average L. about 1.0 cm), aligned radially with each band containing about 90 facets; narrow band of about 24 similar oval facets, their ends almost touching; two bands of circular or almost circular facets (average D. about 1.2 cm), with approximately 20 facets in outer band and 14 facets in inner band; at center of base, countersunk ring-and-dot motif (D. 2.6 cm).
