Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle with Stopper Spoon. Transparent dark red and dark blue non-lead glass; blown, cased, cameo-carved. (a) Flattened, tall ovoid form, with short, tapered neck, the rim polished flat, with a central hole for a stopper and spoon; rounded shoulders and sides, flattened faces; ruby background, with dark blue overlay carved, on each face, one with a covered urn, a brush pot, and a lake stone carving on a stand; the other side with a tall vase with foliage, a spouted pot, and a rectangular four-footed bowl; carved oval blue foot rim. (b) Tapered, slightly domed blue glass finial; tapered cork shank with long ivory spoon, with thin handle and pointed oval spatulate bowl.
