Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, white sulphide; blown-molded, cut, encased, molded sulphide, gilt stamped metal mounts. Rectangular shape with hinged rectangular cover; top of the cover with convex circular panel enclosing a molded male sulphide head, facing sinister, reverse plain; the panel framed by a prismatic cut ring; the remainder of the top filled with fine sharp diamonds; sides of the cover and base decorated with rounded vertical ribs alternating with vertical panels of cut sharp diamonds; rim of the cover and base with gilt mountings, the sides with foliage, flowers and diamonds on a finely ribbed background; rectangular lock plate in the front, with a border matching that on the rims; hinged at the back; bottom with cut radial rounded ribbing; loose paper label inside, inscribed "4" in ink.
