Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, silver metal; Molten glass has been impressed (for silver clasp), annealed, fractured, edges polished, hole drilled into which silver is bonded with Epoxy, silver has been bent, soldered, polished and plated with rhodium. Ring consisting of a silver spiral band formed by a narrow strip that wraps around itself then extends to "clamp" a fractured and drilled block of glass with the appearance of being compressed by the metal; stamped on silver interior: Japanese calligraphic mark for "Kazu" (see object information sheet for example) SILVER.Provenance
