Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, silver metal, ruby; Blown glass with air trap and ruby inclusion joined while hot to silver that has been bent, soldered, polished and plated with rhodium. Squared ring of silver in shape of a cube open on two sides with one semi-circular cut-out (so finger can bend); opposite exterior wall decorated with solid sphere of glass with central teardrop-shaped airtrap; ruby chip positioned between top of airtrap and glass; glass mounted hot to silver; stamped on silver interior: Japanese calligraphic mark for "Kazu" (see object information sheet for example) SILVER.Provenance
