Physical DescriptionColorless glass; blown or cast, wheel-cut, ground and polished. Cylindrical thick-walled vase, plain rim with ground and polished horizontal top; vertical wall; plain flat base. Decorated by cutting, grinding and polishing: on one side, broad undulating facet with sloping sides and flat floor, running from top to bottom; to left of facet, just above mid-point, eye-like motif consisting of countersunk circular boss with rounded profile; to right of facet, just below mid-point, similar eye-like motif; on opposite side of wall, running from near top to near bottom, thirty nearly parallel cuts of varying length with sharp triangular profiles and pointed ends, some higher at left end, others higher at right end; scratched on bottom near edge: "362".Provenance
