Physical DescriptionOpaque green glass; molded and cut; coiled and drawn out. Unusual form, due to drawing-out of the glass thread after the coiling of a bead, evidence of which is apparent in cloudy bubbles seen below the surface which, toward the "head" and along the "back" are elongated and ellipsoidal, becoming circular toward the tail; unusual placing of the incised lines on the head, which are grooves at the periphery but thin out before reaching the bore; surface pitting prominent; specific gravity, 3.20.
