Physical DescriptionTransparent light green glass with few bubbles; mold-blown, two- part mold. Body curves in towards bottom; flat base with broad, low ring. Mold-blown decoration in two registers, separated by beaded horizontal rib: (1) animals running from left to right across meadow, indicated by small plant-like motifs, with two trees; (b) gladiators identified by name: "[ ]MVS", of whom only one foot and part of the shield survive; "HORIES", facing right with sword in right hand and left arm raised to display victor's garland (below which lies shield); "P[ ]", facing right with sword in right hand and shield, raised, in left; "ES[ ]", in similar attitude; between "HORIES" and "P[ ]", palm frond; on base, central boss and one concentric circle.
