Physical DescriptionPossibly Fragment of Bottle with Palmette. Transparent green over almost colorless with yellowish green tinge. Blown, applied; linear- and slant-cut. Fragment of bottle(?): cylindrical. Lower wall (TTh. 0.25 cm) straight, tapering slightly, and curving in at bottom; base plain. Two very small patches of green overlay (Th. 0.05 cm) survive. Colorless glass has linear- and slant-cut decoration: large palmette framed by apparently symmetrical arrangement of curving lines; palmette and lines are separated by groups of two or three short transverse and horizontal cuts. On underside of base, one corner of large square motif with borders consisting of pairs of parallel cuts.
