Physical DescriptionMedal for the Perla del Mediterraneo. (a) Bronze; cast. Rectangular bronze medal showing a man in period speedboat racing attire driving a powerboat. Four fish flank outer edges of medal. Circular glass-like cabochon fixed to front near bottom edge. Top of medal inscribed, "PERLA DEL / MEDITTERRANEO". (b) Original reddish-brown case with hinged lid and metal mounts.
