Physical DescriptionEnameled Beaker with Musicians. Almost colorless glass, blue, red, white, green, and black enamel, gilding; blown, applied, enameled, gilded. Conical beaker with flared rim and applied disk foot. Pale amber, almost colorless glass with blue, red, white, green, and black enamel and gilded scene of three musicians. Upper register is a row of coursing hares in blue enamel. Primary scene in the middle of the beaker shows three seated courtly figures holding instruments, possibly a harp, lute, and tambourine. A tall leafy frond surmounted by the image of a beaker of similar shape divides the scene. Bottom register of quatrefoils in blue enamel below the figures. Each register is framed by thin double horizontal lines of red enamel. Partially restored.Provenance
