Physical DescriptionFragment of Beaker. Almost colorless, with yellowish tinge; decorated in gold, red, white, blue, and turquoise. Blown; gilded, enameled. Fragment of beaker. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall (Th 0.1-0.15 cm) tapers, then descends vertically. Decorated mostly on outside. On tapering part of wall: two registers, with gilded bands above, between, and below them, each band with narrow red borders; upper register has gilded neskhi inscription with red borders; lower register has band of red on interior and gilded neskhi inscription on outside. Vertical part of wall has remains of register of narrow horizontal stripes of white enamel (at top) alternating with gilding; gilded stripes are embellished with small spots of enamel (from top to bottom of fragment): blue, white, red, white, blue, turquoise, and blue.
