Physical DescriptionYale Cut-Glass Knob Display. Colorless glass, brass mounts, wood; cut glass, assembled. Rectangular wooden board mounted with five cut-glass knobs, a keyhole cover (possibly a later addition to cover a hole for a missing knob), and two brass plaques: one inscribed "Yale" and one with the Yale and Towne monogram ("THE YALE & TOWNE MFG. COMPANY. STAMFORD. CONN. / TRADE / Y&T / MARK"). The back of the wood board retains a partial paper label inscribed with Yale & Towne inventory numbers.Provenance
