Physical DescriptionVase with Applied Decoration. Transparent green glass, green, brown, blue, white, and orangish-red enamel, gilding; blown, enameled, gilded. Four-sided vase tapering slightly towards rim. One wall of vase decorated with enameled and gilt decoration consisting of central red berry wreath hung with blue ribbon from milky-brown pergola-type structure with red stars with gold centers. Four strands of gilt garland hang from both wreath and pergola. Garland of enameled and gilt pinecones and evergreen drape from beneath rim on main face of vase down along both narrower sides. Pinecone and evergreen garland separated from pergola and wreath central decoration by blue linework resembling Greek key design on white background flanked on top and bottom by two bands of gilt dots. Four molded metal bee appliques affixed in and around wreath; one pair of metal bee appliques applied to each narrow wall of vase. Provenance
