Physical DescriptionVase with Oak Leaves and Dragonfly Enameled Decoration. Cobalt blue (possibly Aquamarin) glass, green, red, yellow, and blue enamel, gilding; blown, applied, enameled, gilded. Vase with flattened globular body, long cylindrical neck, and wider stepped funnel rim. Vase sits atop knopped stem and stepped dome foot; two gilded angular handles attached to neck and top of body. Body and neck of vase decorated with enameled blue, red, green, and yellow leaf sprays of varying hues set atop a matrix of enameled branches with four molded and gilded acorns applied to body; one side of body features central enameled dragonfly. Top of foot decorated with band of enameled branches. Gilded bands applied to rim, knop, and around edge of foot.Provenance
