Physical DescriptionOpalescent white non-lead glass; blown, enameled, gilt. Ovoid form, with cup-shaped neck rim, waisted neck below; the rim polished flat and gilt; gilt rounded panels and scrolls on the side of the neck; enameled pendant leaves around the neck; the sides with enameled American flag with crossed striped pennant, with trailing foliate swags, on both sides; enameled foliage at the base of the bowl; straight, drawn stem, ending in a basal flattened knop with gilt band; circular foot with finely enameled foliate swags and gilt crow's feet; rough-ground pontil mark; the rim of the foot rough ground.Provenance
