Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown; sewn, stamped, tanned leather. (a) Flattened, ovoid form, with short, cylindrical neck, rounded sides, flat faces; rough pontil mark on the end. (b) Rounded, flattened half-ovoid, of two pieces of leather sewn together, to fit the neck and top half of the flask; three stamped ring patterns on one side, with a border of repeated diamonds at the edge; lined with discolored brown paper. (c) Flattened, half- ovoid form, to fit the lower end of the flask (a); of two pieces of leather, seen together; three stamped ring patterns, as on (b); similar stamped border at the edge; lined with tan paper.
