Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, leather, paper, metal; mold-blown glass, sewn leather cover, printed paper label, metal screw cap. Oval cross-section, short neck with screw threads; plain sides and base; body completely covered with stamped leather case which has a diamond pattern on upper half and two vertical window to view contents; lower half of case is plain and solid, posted on paper label printed: "JOS. P. CANBY, Druggist. / BAY RUM / Atlantic Ave., ATLANTIC CITY" in oval or rectangular label. Metal screw cap is corroded in place.
