Physical DescriptionTransparent dark green thick bubbly glass; mold-blown. Two compartments, divided by short neck where two inner projections prevent a dark green marble (inserted in upper portion before mouth was formed) from dropping into lower part; upper part bulbous, tapering to thick, collared mouth, having two concave (pushed-in) areas to keep marble in place when drinking; on exterior these serve as fingerholds; the marble, when lower part is filled with carbonated pop, is, by gas pressure, forced up tightly against rubber gasket applied inside mouth, making perfect closure until sharp jab with some instrument loosens the marble; a simple strip of paper pasted to neck covers marble.Provenance
