Physical DescriptionOpaque white lead glass; blown, gilt, enameled. Tall true baluster form, with flared rim, tall waisted neck and bulbous body; gilt rim; panel of gilt scrolls on the neck; enameled view of a three-story house with brick piers, with large trees at the sides in the foreground; two women converse on the lawn, while a third approaches; gilt floral swags below; molded disk foot with gilt band; flat base with polished pontil mark, inscribed in red enamel in script "Roehampton House / Surrey. The Seat of / J. T. Leslie Melville Esqr. / Painted by Harry / Evan Edwards, / 1850".
