Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; mold-blown. (a) Rectangular, straight-sided shape, with heavily embossed (mold-blown) decoration; neck with flared, flat rim, short cylindrical section above a large, horizontally ribbed, spherical section; sloping shoulders; flat faces, that at the front with molded elaborate baton, emerging from scrolled foliage at the base; the sides with large, vertical acanthus leaves; the back plain; framed in foliage; the corners with vertical foliage and stylized flowers; flat bottom with rough pontil mark. (b) Hollow shape; ball finial; tapered shank; snapped off at the bottom.
