Physical DescriptionTransparent light green glass; blown, ground, wheel-cut; rim ground flat. Hemispherical body; three horizontal wheel-cut grooves below rim; rest of body occupied by wheel-cut scene of Christ healing paralytic; both figures stand on hillock defined by pebble-like oval motifs; on left, Christ, facing right, in tunic and pallium, raising hand to paralytic; on right, facing Christ but walking away to right, paralytic dressed in short tunic and puttees, carrying bed on shoulders; bed has four legs and upright headboard.Provenance
