Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, enameled, transfer- printed, gilt, silvered. Straight-sided, cylindrical form; cut rounded panels at the base; gilt band at the rim; enameled white rectangular panels with cut corners on the side, with transfer- printed Persian banquet scene, with two women and a man seated at a table, another man, dancing (?), drinking from a wineglass; columns and a garden scene with distant building in the background; formal border of opposing bands of scallops, forming diamonds; stylized floral spray in gold and black (tarnished silver) on the reverse; gilt band at the bottom; polished concave pontil mark.
