Physical DescriptionTransparent dark purple non-lead glass; blown, engraved, gilt; turned pewter cover. Tall, ovoid form, with tall, tapered neck with slightly flared rim, spreading gently into the bulbous body; engraved stylized rose spray on either side, gilt; engraved sprays of foliage on the neck and front; applied flat strap loop handle, curled at the base; hinged domed pewter cover (damaged) with ball finial thumb grip; applied curved spout with engraved and gilt floral spray at the base; ground rim; molded, flared base; concave bottom with rough ring pontil mark.
