Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved, painted, gilt. Tapered, straight-sided bowl with rounded base; engraved matte line at the rim; engraved crowned double-headed eagle of Russia, body painted black, crowns and insignia gilt; bearing a gilt oval panel on its breast enclosing gilt monogram "EA II"; gilt stylized floral sprays at either side; cut oval panels in two rows at the base, with engraved pointed arcade above; stem composed of a ball knop with band of cut oval facets, larger ball knop with three rings of cut oval facets, and basal ball knop with oval facets, bubble running throughout the stem; folded foot; rough pontil mark.
