Physical DescriptionTranslucent amethyst glass, trails of opaque white, opaque yellow and turquoise glass; core-formed, trail-decorated and tooled. Fragment preserves rounded flattened rim which bends down into a long cylindrical neck before spreading out into flat lentoid body. One of two handles is preserved at the shoulder which coils up and attaches on the neck below the rim. The entire surface is decorated with trails that have been combed in a random pattern to imitate marble veining; the rim was formed after this decoration was applied.
