Physical DescriptionMarbled translucent red-brown non-lead glass; mold-blown, cut, gilt, silvered. (a) Cylindrical, straight-sided form; cut chamfered rim; gilt rim; gilt panels in a band on the side, containing gilt and silvered stylized flowers and foliage; gilt band on the bottom; applied loop handle, polished at the bottom terminal, with gilt line on the side; polished flat base rim and concave pontil mark. (b) Domed form, with inset, tapered brim; gilt rim and scattered foliate sprays; disk finial with ground and gilt pontil mark on top.
