Physical DescriptionFragment of Bottle: from wall of bottle. Wall almost straight, but with slightly convex profile. Exterior has parts of two horizontal bands of scratch-engraved ornament, with narrow undecorated strips above and below. Upper band has cable motif enclosing oval panels, each of which contains leaf-like motif with (in one case) three lobes on each side and one lobe at each end, enlivened by oval element; above and below narrowest parts of cable, arc enclosing empty space. Background, interior of ovals enclosed by cable, and ovals in leaf-like motifs have transverse hatching. Small part, only, of lower band survives; it is hatched. Glass has few small bubbles and stones.
