Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown-molded, transparent enameled. Straight-sided, cylindrical form; molded decoration of a band of diamonds below the rim, four clustered Corinthian columns forming four panels, with a band of diamonds below; the panels with molded decoration: a male bust-length portrait, facing sinister, enameled pink face, black hair, green jacket with blue collar, inscribed at the side "IOHANN /V OESTERREICH", two panels with farm implements, enameled pink, with green wreathes, and in the fourth panel a crowned double-headed eagle, holding a scepter and orb, enameled pink and yellow, inscribed below "B/V"; inscription running across the bottom of the three panels "[indistinct] LAMERSWALOER [?] GLASFABRICK [IN?] STEYERMARK"; band of ribbing at the base; the bottom with molded recessed circular panel and star.Provenance
