Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; mold-blown, half-post method. Flattened ovoid shape; straight neck with flared, flat rim; second gather ends just below the neck; rounded shoulders and sides, flat faces; all-over mold-blown decoration of formal palmettes and shells creating four panels, one bearing a male portrait facing sinister, inscribed at the sides "ERHERZOG/IOHAN B"; a trophy of farming tools in another, inscribed at the sides "GLASFAB/K.K.PRIV" and the letters "DBV" above; a crowned shield in another panel, inscribed at the sides "STEYER/MARK"; and in the fourth panel, more farming tools and the date "18/40"; oval base rim; rough pontil mark.
