Physical DescriptionAquamarine glass; mold-blown; applied ring around neck, smooth base, oval depression. Obverse: large oval panel, top and bottom indented, containing American Eagle, facing right, wings raised above and parallel to body. Eagle rests on shield with five vertical bars. In eagle's beak narrow ribbon extending upward and above eagle and below through shield. Thunderbolt (four arrows) protrudes from left side of shield just below ribbon. On lower part of flask rectangular panel with inscription. Reverse: no design or inscription; entire flask except panels on obverse covered with decidedly angular vertical ribbing. Inscription: "LOUISVILLE KY GLASS WORKS" in two lines. Edges: angular vertical ribbing.
