Physical DescriptionAquamarine glass; mold-blown; plain lip, pontil mark. Obverse: designs on oval panels; American Eagle, head erect and turned to right; wings partly raised. Eagle stands on shield containing nine narrow vertical bars and three wider horizontal bars. The vertical bars are grouped three in the centre, two each on either side and single bar at each border of shield. Sun rays surround eagle's head and tips of wings extend downward parallel with upper part of shield. Below shield extending upward on either side olive and palm branches tied at centre. Reverse: United States Flag with twenty small stars, furled on standard. Inscription: "FOR OUR COUNTRY" in semi-circle below flag. Edges: fine vertical ribbing sloping to heavy medial rib, wide flat appearance.
