Physical DescriptionTumbler. Colorless lead glass of grayish cast; free-blown and engraved. Squat cylindrical form with thick base with large ground and polished center on bottom; engraved decoration in Empire style: at top, dot and vee line edging; dots between tiny ovals in vee line above and below wide band with large clear diamonds having a dot in each corner and stylized flower in center and, on "frosted" triangles between diamonds, polished ovals; bottom edge, circlet of crossed (x) lines and tiny horizontal ovals between two vertical ovals.
