Physical DescriptionLight green glass; blown-molded; plain lip, pontil mark on base. Obverse: three-quarter view of George Washington in uniform facing right; fuller faced and different arrangement of hair from any others. Reverse: American Eagle, head larger and turned to left; narrower shield with seven bars on breast; wings partly raised. Thunderbolt (three arrows) in its left talons. Eagle stands on oval frame with inner band of thirty tiny pearls. Inscription: "G. G. WASHINGTON." in semi-circle above bust. Letters large and widely spaced. Reverse--"PITTSBURGH" in semi-circle above eagle. "F. L." in oval frame beneath eagle. Edges: three vertical ribs.
