Physical DescriptionTransparent yellowish-green glass; blown with applied handle and wheel-cut decoration. Rim outsplayed, with rounded lip; body tapers, and curves in slightly at bottom; four bands of wheel-cut decoration: (from top to bottom) single groove with pairs of short transverse cuts above and below, arranged in herringbone pattern, each pair pointing toward handle, the whole resembling a schematic laurel wreath; two narrow grooves; one broad and two narrow grooves; and single narrow groove; small handle attached to upper part of body after decoration, top end folded back to form narrow "rat-tail"; low splayed foot, folded, and flattened underneath.Provenance
