Physical DescriptionTranslucent deep blue, opaque white glasses; blown (?), cased, lathe-cut and carved (cameo technique). Rim of skyphos; rim plain, with flat top and lathe-cut groove on interior shortly below lip; edge of handle attachment with narrow lathe-cut groove at junction with rim; exterior has opaque white decoration in high relief (0.5 cm): youthful charioteer with long flowing hair and clean-shaven face, clad in long-sleeved tunic and with cloak flying out behind him, faces left with arms extended, grasping whip (head, chest and arms, only, survive).Provenance
