Physical DescriptionCanes of opaque white, opaque yellow, opaque brick-red, translucent deep blue, translucent light green glass, dull, possibly repolished recently; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. Fragment of the hieroglyph primarily composed of a checkerboard pattern of alternating squares of red with alternating squares composed of nine smaller squares of blue and white, on the flat side a repetitive motif of a long blue rectangle alternating with a composite rectangle of short red, green and blue elements each separated by a narrow band of yellow, entire strip is cased above and below with a wide yellow band and backed with a thick layer of green and some irregular patches of opaque white.Provenance
