Physical DescriptionCanes of opaque white, opaque yellow, opaque brick-red, opaque deep medium blue, opaque light green, opaque translucent yellow-green and translucent amethyst glass, bubbly, somewhat pitted and dull; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. In a square medium deep blue cane stands a falcon or hawk facing left with white beak, red head and alternating white and yellow body with red legs; area around eye and behind head is highlighted with amethyst while the wing is elaborately picked out in yellow and green on a translucent yellow-green ground with opaque white chips, tips of the wings are also delineated in this fashion and the tail feather is a series of amethyst squares divided by yellow, the square cane is encased with similar blue glass to form round frame which is in turn cased with brick-red glass.
