Physical DescriptionOpaque medium blue, opaque white, opaque red, opaque yellow and "black" (amethyst) glass canes, highly iridescent on sides and back, upper surface repolished recently; mosaic glass technique. Overall design consists of 1.5 cm. square elements composed of a central amethyst square surrounded by various colored squares; moving from center out the colors are white, red, amethyst, medium blue, yellow, amethyst, white, red, amethyst, blue; the overall pattern creates a repetitive checkerboard effect.Provenance
