Physical DescriptionPossibly Fragment of Goblet. Transparent very pale bluish green; decorated in brown and yellow. Blown; assembled(?); stained. Bowl: roughly hemispherical, perhaps part of goblet. Rim plain, with rounded lip slightly thickened on inside; wall straight and tapering before curving down and in at bottom; base has applied disk (Th. 0.15 cm, D. 2.4 cm) with roughly circular scar (D. about 1.1 cm) at center. Decorated on outside only: continuous register, bordered by two parallel lines at top and single line at bottom. Register is divided into 10 contiguous triangular panels separated by slanting lines that touch at upper and lower borders, and are embellished with numerous short perpendicular lines; shape of bowl determined that upper panels are larger than lower panels. Each upper panel has triangular cluster of circles arranged in five horizontal rows with decreasing numbers in each row: five at top and one at bottom. Each lower panel has similar triangular motif, but with only four rows containing from one to four circles. Borders, and outlines of panels and circles, are brown; circles are filled with yellow dots.Provenance
