Physical DescriptionFragment of Dish or Bowl. Almost colorless, with yellowish tinge; very many short, elongated bubbles; decorated in brownish yellow. Blown; stained. Fragment of dish or bowl. Rim has roughly horizontal flange (W. about 2.5 cm), with slightly convex upper surface and rounded lip; it merges with top of wall (Th. 0.2 cm), which begins to curve down and in, apparently at shallow angle. Decorated, on upper surface only, with presumably continuous bands of repetitive ornament. On outer edge of rim: single borderline; inside this, row of adjoining pentagonal panels (L. 4.4 cm) defined by border and, on lateral sides, by short radial lines and, on inner side, by two converging lines, each consisting of two solid triangles; each panel contains circle enclosing transverse dash. On inner part of rim and extending onto wall: row of adjoining panels defined by borders of outer panels and, on lateral sides, by pairs of radial lines with crossbars at outer end; these panels also contain circles enclosing transverse dashes.
