Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, pincered, and engraved. Ovoid bowl; engraved border of tiny polished lenses along a matte band; five formal foliate scrolls with birds and flowers engraved on the side; two engraved lines and a ring of beading below; elaborate stem formed of a baluster knop with four pincered arching leaves, above a circular ring, molded with twisted fine ribbing, with two straight struts crossing the ring vertically, each with applied, multi-petaled, pincered flowers; milled trailing on the edge of the ring, with twisted, pincered projections below; pincered oval pads at the bottom of the ring; hollow, spirally-ribbed inverted baluster knop with upper ball knob at the base of the stem; large, slightly domed foot, with engraved band of scrolls fleurs-de-lis, and beads near the rim; no pontil mark.
